Dolores @ Clinton St. Theater

Join People's, the Clinton Street Theater, and PCUN (Oregon's Farmworker Union) for a screening of Dolores, a documentary chronicling the life and impact of farmworker rights advocate Dolores Huerta. Raising 11 children while wrestling with gender bias, union defeat and victory, and nearly dying after a San Francisco Police beating, Dolores Huerta bucked 1950s gender conventions to co-found the country's first farmworkers union. We'll be joined by farmworkers from PCUN for a panel discussion after the film. $5-15 suggested donation, though no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Proceeds will be donated to PCUN to support their critical work.

Tickets: $5-$15 suggested donation
