Round Up for Portland Immigrant Rights Coalition

Thank You for Breaking Records!

From Friday, January 30th to Tuesday, February 3rd, our community raised an incredible $2,426 for Minneapolis's Immigrant Rapid Response Fund! On Friday alone, you rounded up $425! This is officially a round-up record for the Co-op. Thank you all for your tremendous support!

Let's Keep the Momentum Going

This month, we're fundraising for the Portland Immigrant Rights Coalition (PIRC), a local organization dedicated to defending and advancing the human rights of immigrants and refugees through education, advocacy, and direct support. Their work centers on building community power and protecting families from detention and deportation.

Round up to the nearest dollar (or more) at our registers through March 3rd!

Their Commitment:

  • Supporting Indigenous Communities: Sources beans exclusively from small, organic producers in Chiapas, Oaxaca, and Nayarit, Mexico, with a portion of profits donated directly back to farmers

  • Fair Trade Sourcing: Tostado works directly with farmers to ensure their well compensated. “When you choose Fair Trade coffee, you’re supporting better livelihoods, sustainable farming, and a more equitable global coffee industry.” (Tostado)

  • Sustainable Practices: Small-batch roasting with a commitment to reducing waste and environmental impact

The Team: Adriana works alongside Augusto, an indigenous Zapotec from Oaxaca, whose passion for coffee and dedication to their craft shines through in every roast.
