This week is Peoples’s Summer Solstice Farmer’s Market, and we’re berry excited for y’all to celebrate with us! And— we have blueberries!

Springbank Farm , a multi-generational farm in Lebanon Oregon, will be selling fresh blueberries by consignment through Gee Creek. Blueberry Ridge is also here with blueberries and an assortment of high quality blueberry products (pies, candies, and more!) made with berries grown on their farm in Sherwood, Oregon. Both farms are Oregon Tilth Certified Organic! And if you get to market early, you might even find strawberries, raspberries and more berries from our other local farms.

This week, we are celebrating the beginning of summer with a number of free offerings: Sinclair of Farmageddon Growers’ Collective will be making flower crowns from 3p-5p, and Farah will be doing tarot readings from 5p-7p in the courtyard.

• Sara’s Mexican Tamales is here with…drum roll please….. tamales! Also, tacos, burritos, pozole, and agua fresca! Make sure to find them in their bright red truck in the shady part of market. Grab your lunch or dinner, and take a seat (and a beat) at our Beetstro tent.

• Looking for some soothing mushroom cocoa, hot or cold? Visit Dark Matter Mushroom Cocoa for a taste of delicious adaptogenic mushroom cocoa, with a touch of turmeric, cinnamon and spice. Enjoy hot or over ice.

• Campo Collective, a bilingual, collectively owned farm in Hillsboro, is at market weekly, with a selection of greens, berries, brassicas, edible flowers, and more!

• Great River Farm, based on Sauvie Island, is here with local raspberries, strawberries, and honey, as well as scallions, parsley, onions and potatoes! Whether you’re cooking something sweet or savory, make sure to visit this lovely farm booth. If you’re looking for a gift, check out their darling, handmade, produce-inspired creations. How could anyone resist such a cheerful stuffed avocado, or a charismatic crocheted cactus?
