It’s a grape day for early fall produce and to enjoy People’s Farmers’ Market. Along with grapes, you’ll find cherry tomatoes, plums, and the last of the summer berries. What can you do with this sweet abundance?

For a sweet tooth, try this Olive Oil Cake with Grapes and Fennel. Or this gluten-free Plum Crisp with pistachios and ginger.

For a fresh fall salad, try this Grilled Grape Salad with cucumbers, pecans, and cauliflower.

• Maruti Indian Restaurant is at market this week! Drop by for late lunch or early dinner of vegetarian or vegan Tikka Masala, Chana Masala, and some crispy samosas!

• Dilish Farm is here! Drop by their farm truck for a variety of produce and handcrafted farm products, made at their East Vancouver family farm.

• Wasco Fisheries is here with high quality fresh, smoked, frozen, and canned salmon! A Native-owned business, Wasco Fisheries harvests salmon on the Columbia River using traditional techniques that have sustained the local ecology for thousands of years. Wasco Fisheries is committed to care for the land and water for future generations, while supporting equitable access to healthy, locally harvested food.

• Dark Matter Mushroom Cocoa is here with an adaptogenic blend of wise mushrooms, decadent chocolate, cinnamon, turmeric, and a hint of chai. Delicious hot or over ice!
