You’re invited to a holiday date night on Friday, February 10th... Vegan Iron Chef style! This special event includes live cooking demos, stories and tips for a “DIY” date night of your own, featuring samples and a take-home recipe handout for a homemade Italian American menu by Jess “Sconé” DeNoto including:
Winter Bruschetta
Spaghetti Bolognese w/ toasted Pumpkin Seed-Hemp Parmesan
Sautéed Broccoli Raab
suggested Cocktail/Mocktail pairing
Limoncello-inspired dessert TBA.
Enjoy samples, live cooking and plating demos of all dishes, light refreshments and mood music by SELECTOR TNT. Gluten-free options will be marked & available.
Bring a date (or two!), bring a friend, or hey, bring yourself and come to meet new friends! “DATE NIGHT” tickets are $15 per person, $25 per couple, or $35 per trio.
The nitty gritty
This special event will open with light refreshments and mingling. You are welcome to come with a date (or two!)...or not! You'll get to sample all dishes from the demo at the end of the evening. Please realize this is not a plated dinner and you will NOT be at your own cooking stations. That said, this will be a surely lovely, interactive evening!
By the way, gluten-free dishes will be notated at the event and this menu is currently treenut-free. Seriously.
Individual tickets are available for $15.

Three tickets are available for $35
This event is recommended for those ages 16 and up.
All event proceeds go to Vegan Iron Chef, a 100% volunteer run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded 2010 in Portland, OR. Our mission is to celebrate creative culinary achievements, bring attention to food justice issues, and unite the ever-expanding vegan community through events and programming. Past happenings include the “Summer of Brunch” series, VeganMacShowCase, Pop-Up! Taco Shop!, Scrambletown, Rainbow Brunch and city-wide competitions.
