Vegan for the Holidays

Kris is a Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine Food For Life Instructor and a professionally trained chef. She will demonstrate and share plant-based recipes for some traditional Thanksgiving side dishes. Her delicious Holiday Veggie Wellington recipe can be found on YouTube and will give you an idea of how extravagant and delicious vegan holidays can be. She will also discuss ways of keeping the extravagant holiday eating to just the holidays.  Additional recipes that are healthy but delicious will be shared so our weight doesn't get out of control during the weeks between Thanksgiving and the New Year. We will leave lots of time for Q&A. If you have a holiday favorite dish you just don't know how to veganize, bring the recipe, and you will leave with lots of great ideas.
