Roots for the Changing Season

As we move into the colder months roots are beneficial for many reasons. We'll discuss Burdock, Yellow Dock, Dandelion and Oregon Grape Root in detail. Topics such as ethical harvesting, seasonal and local eating, chemical action on the body, and both herbal and food preparations will be covered.

Tea and a recipe book will be provided too!

Hope to see you there to join us in supporting each other by taking a deeper look at our local plant allies for the turning of the season.

Workshop led by Michella Onnis of the Seasonal Wellness Clinic. This class is hosted by Herbalists Without Borders PDX, all classes are by donation, $5 suggested, with proceeds going to HWB projects and instructors. Registration is recommended but not required.

If this class is interesting or useful to you but you can't swing the fee, please be in touch with us and we'll work something out.
