Singing together is an incredible way to build community! Folks who want to feel more confident teaching songs to groups of people would benefit from this workshop.

Join us if you:
- Are looking to host a song circle
- Want to bring song into liberation movements
- Love teaching songs to your friends and want to develop more skills!
- Will be at a gathering, conference, retreat, etc., and want to bring a song to that space
- Have attended song circles in the past and want to learn more about how to teach songs
- None of the above - you just want to sing a bit and support folks learning to facilitate!

Develop and hone your skills around choosing an appropriate song for the setting, learn tips and tricks for teaching songs successfully, and sing a few songs along the way! Feel free to bring a song you'd like to practice teaching to the group, but it isn't necessary. Be ready for supportive feedback!

Though these skills can be easily applied to most, if not all, music spaces, the songs we will be focusing on are those without additional instruments - just voices! - and are short enough to learn without song sheets. Formal music training is definitely not required!
