Deeply soothe your nervous system with this gentle sequence of movements and awareness exercises, drawn from Structural Integration, Yoga, Ki-Aikido, and other somatic practices. You will receive materials to help you apply it in daily life.
Appropriate for the public, yet also will have enough juicy information to be very relevant for health practitioners of all types. (Note, this class is not intended to treat severe emotional trauma. Upon request, I can provide a referral to a trained therapist.)
This class is very movement-based. I offer an information-rich class called "Learn About Your Nervous System" (https://your-nervous-system2.eventbrite.com) and a class about how the nervous system affects pain, called "The New Science of Pain." These classes compliment each other and if you attend all three you will learn a lot!
