Conscious Comedy: Sisters of the Road

People's has teamed up with Food Front Co-op and Alberta Cooperative Grocery for a fundraiser to benefit our friends at Sisters of the Road! We will have stand up, improv, and a full viewing of Sisters' documentary On the Ground, which unpacks the realities and root causes of houselessness in Portland. All proceeds from this event will go to Sisters of the Road.

This event is at Curious Comedy: 5225 NE MLK Jr Blvd. Presale tickets are $7. Tickets will also be available at the door for a suggested donation of $12, though tickets can be purchased at any price and no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Food and drink will be available for purchase.

Conscious Comedy is a new quarterly series of shows to benefit our community non-profits and start conversations around what we can do as individuals to build community and make a difference!
