Tostado Coffee Roasters

Founded by Adriana Lopez, who immigrated from Mexico City to Portland, Tostado was born from a powerful mission: to honor the hard work of coffee farmers who often receive little reward for their labor.

Their Commitment:

  • Supporting Indigenous Communities: Sources beans exclusively from small, organic producers in Chiapas, Oaxaca, and Nayarit, Mexico, with a portion of profits donated directly back to farmers

  • Fair Trade Sourcing: Tostado works directly with farmers to ensure their well compensated. “When you choose Fair Trade coffee, you’re supporting better livelihoods, sustainable farming, and a more equitable global coffee industry.” (Tostado)

  • Sustainable Practices: Small-batch roasting with a commitment to reducing waste and environmental impact

The Team: Adriana works alongside Augusto, an indigenous Zapotec from Oaxaca, whose passion for coffee and dedication to their craft shines through in every roast.

What We're Carrying: Regular coffee and decaf!
